Base Station O&M Platform
Solo-built telecom operations platform powering real-time base station monitoring and diagnostics.
Sole engineer — architecture to deployment
- geo query, 100K records
- 8.5 s → 5 ms
- concurrent req/sec, load-tested
- 5,000+
- microservices

The challenge
Telecom operators need real-time visibility and automated fault diagnosis across large fleets of base stations, without a wall of disconnected dashboards.
What I built
Kubernetes, 19 pods: SNMP/MQTT/NETCONF adapters feed 100+ metric types into anomaly detection and the dashboard above. Java 21 and Spring Cloud, event-driven over RabbitMQ; the geo-query win above is PostGIS indexing replacing Haversine distance maths. All of it one pair of hands: 43K lines of Java, 27K Python diagnostics and ML, 20K React/TypeScript, 11K Go edge networking, 5K C device protocol, and I still run it alone.
Under the hood
- API Gateway: JWT/RBAC auth and per-endpoint rate limiting
- Base Station Service: core telecom operations, backed by PostgreSQL
- AI Diagnostic Engine: anomaly detection, root-cause analysis and LSTM forecasting, backed by MongoDB
- Monitoring Service: 100+ metric types
- Edge Bridge: SNMP/MQTT/NETCONF adapters
- Notification Service: alerts and workflows over RabbitMQ
- Auth Service: OAuth2 and HMAC service-to-service auth, backed by Redis
- React Dashboard: live WebSocket streaming
